After taking Findie along, the group continued deeper into the mining area.
They first crossed the steel bridge, then headed forward into a mine tunnel excavated underground.
As they followed the tunnel, they could see supplies and tools along the way. The lighting equipment cast a yellow glow through the passage.
Voices drifted over from a distance.
"Hey, why's it so noisy over there? Sounds like a lot of people arguing... Let's get closer and see what's going on!" March 7th said.
"Oh? Looks like it's time for me, the Galaxy Bat Hero, to make my entrance!" Stelle was already getting into character.
Before they had gone far, two groups appeared outside the underground mine tunnel. The miners seemed to be facing off against the vagrants.
A female miner stood with her hands on her hips, looking at the vagrants before her in disgust as she said coldly:
"...You lot only pick on the weak. Why couldn't you stand up to Svarog's lackeys? Didn't your parents ever teach you what a backbone was?"
A vagrant replied with scorn and mockery, "You kidding? What the hell would I get out of risking my life against robots? And don't act all innocent yourselves. You dug up this huge Geomarrow deposit and kept it under wraps. Enjoy keeping it all to yourselves?"
The female miner remained confident, but rather than answering his question directly, she simply said:
"This mine was our turf to begin with. When the mining team was working day and night to meet deadlines, we never saw you lift a finger. You weren't even around to run your mouths and make snide remarks!
"You spend all day lazing around, thinking of nothing but taking advantage of others, and you actually think you're in the right... Shameless!"
