This little incident did nothing to dampen Allen's mood.
After all, he had long known the Malfoy family's reputation.
To be honest, Allen was already quite satisfied that a family like that had managed to raise an innocent young master like Draco.
Just imagine how much trouble Draco would have caused him at school if Lucius had truly molded him in his own image!
So he did not mind indulging the young master's frequent fits of willfulness, nor did he mind teaching Lucius's son for him-
If he succeeded, Draco would be an enormous asset to him!
He would have a perfect source of information and a strategic foothold within the pure-blood camp.
If he failed, he would lose nothing.
Allen made his way toward the Seventh Floor, step by step, but he did not need to search for the tapestry of "Trolls Clubbing Barnabas the Barmy." As soon as he appeared, two older students, a boy and a girl, hurried over.
They stood straight and placed their hands over their hearts before Allen.
"Diana Sharp, sixth-year Ravenclaw and prefect-"
"Valentin Lister, sixth-year Hufflepuff-"
"We greet Your Highness!"
Allen nodded gently. "Sorry for the wait."
Both Diana Sharp and Valentin Lister noticed Allen's impeccable attire, and a hint of delight involuntarily crossed their faces. They marveled at how much importance Allen attached to them.
Naturally, Allen noticed their attire as well.
They largely adhered to the student dress code, but the small details revealed careful thought.
Miss Diana Sharp wore light makeup. Her blonde hair was pale and clear as moonlight, its long curls falling over her chest, while a long silver feather hair clip secured the hair on her right beside her ear.
Sea-blue, teardrop-shaped gemstone earrings hung from her exposed right ear, casting tiny glimmers onto her fair neck and lending her the cool beauty of a moon goddess.
She was wrapped in her Ravenclaw school robes, but her shirt had an exquisite pointed collar with overlapping double buttons, paired with a delicate sapphire necklace.
Her graceful hands were folded before her-a textbook gesture of aristocratic etiquette. At roughly five feet seven inches tall, she had an ethereal, exceptional beauty.
The family signet ring on her left little finger readily identified her as Earl Cyril Sharp's only daughter.
Just as I thought...
Allen nodded gently and turned his gaze toward the Hufflepuff gentleman beside her.
Valentin Lister had a sharply chiseled face, like a Greek statue.
He wore his Hufflepuff school robes properly, but his six-foot stature lent the uniform considerable elegance.
The gentleman had added few accessories, merely combing his smooth gray hair neatly so that it lay softly across his forehead.
Although his hair was cool in tone, Valentine's personality was anything but cold.
Like all Hufflepuffs, he was loyal and kind. His smile was wonderfully warm, with a trace of shyness that made him instantly likable.
Their personalities complemented each other quite well. Allen could tell at a glance how they divided their responsibilities: Miss Diana Sharp gave calm orders, while Valentin Lister handled contact with the outside world.
Add to that the loyal execution of Gryffindor's Alger Philip.
The perfect team...
He sighed inwardly and walked toward the wide-open Room of Requirement, escorted by the pair on either side.
Diana Sharp said softly, "You need only repeat what you require in your mind and walk back and forth three times in front of the tapestry to open the Room of Requirement."
Her voice, too, was cool and clear as a moon goddess's.
Allen smiled calmly. "It sounds like a secret base."
"Yes."
Valentine took up the conversation with a warm smile. He bent slightly to accommodate Allen's height. "We thought that, should you wish to hold regular gatherings, we could make this the venue."
"Oh? Mr. Lister."
Allen chuckled. "We've only just met, and you're already assigning me work?"
"That was not my intention."
Valentine lowered his head slightly in respect, then quietly lifted his eyes to look at him. "We simply... admire you so much."
For a moment, Allen was at a loss for words.
He had always known how strongly the people of the United Kingdom supported the monarch and the Royal Family, and he had based many plans and strategies on that very fact.
Yet for the first time, he felt just how important the Royal Family was in the hearts of the people.
So important that they could readily pledge their loyalty without ever having met him.
Allen smiled softly and led the two inside.
As the three advanced, the interior of the Room of Requirement came fully into view.
For a moment, Allen almost thought he had returned to Buckingham Palace and accidentally wandered into some royal press conference.
The Room of Requirement had transformed into an enormous circular hall, with pristine white marble underfoot and exquisite gold carvings inlaid upon it. It could only be described as resplendent.
Opposite the entrance stood a fan-shaped platform-
Elegant burgundy wallpaper adorned the wall, traced with delicate gold lines.
The walnut wood flooring was warm and serene, firmly supporting a lectern and a set of sofas to one side.
Directly opposite the platform was tiered seating with room for three hundred people. Walnut-colored frames supported three hundred soft burgundy sofas.
At that moment, they were already filled with young witches and wizards from different years.
To help everyone socialize, Valentine had directed them to sit by age. From left to right, the seating was divided into seven fan-shaped sections, with the colors of three houses mingling together in a particularly lively atmosphere.
The blond Crown Prince's robes fluttered as he moved at an unhurried pace. The moment he stepped fully through the entrance, a practiced, perfect smile curved his lips.
Walking down the central aisle, he said softly, "Together, the three of us will forge the future!"
Valentine froze, staring blankly at the radiant Crown Prince ahead.
In that instant, the cheers of the young Muggle-born witches and wizards surged like mountains and seas, crashing into Valentine's soul.
They shouted, "Your Highness! Your Highness, the Crown Prince!"
His moon-goddess-like companion swept past him, her cool voice reminding him to collect himself.
Valentine stirred from his daze and made the choice that would define his life.
