Shawn narrowed his eyes slightly and turned to glance at Dumbledore.
He had not expected the Old Beekeeper to summon Sirius back from Albania.
Apparently, having Tom cooperate with the international Aurors had reassured the Old Beekeeper enough to recall Sirius.
As for the missing Bellatrix, he had no idea what Sirius had done with her.
Just then, a man with loose hair entered the hall. It was Sirius.
Sirius was still terribly thin, his reasonably clean black robes hanging loosely on his frame.
He walked with measured elegance, but his eyes remained fixed on Wormtail in the center, as though he wanted to tear the flesh from him bite by bite.
Four Aurors followed closely behind him. After all, Sirius was still a suspect.
"So that's Sirius? He's a Black too."
"Our idol must have gone to so much trouble to clear his uncle's name."
"..."
Murmurs filled the hall. No one had expected the day's first trial to reveal such a bombshell.
Peter Pettigrew was terrified. He did not dare meet Sirius's eyes, and his lies would never withstand a confrontation.
Sirius approached Wormtail, then surged forward in agitation and punched him in the nose.
Thud!
Blood and tears streamed down Wormtail's face as he screamed desperately.
"He's a murderer! Kill him! Kill him!"
"You shameless traitor! How could you betray James and Lily's trust? I'll kill you!"
Four Pentagram members swiftly stepped forward and dragged away Sirius, who was flailing and cursing furiously.
After confiscating his wand, they promptly forced him into another prisoner's chair.
The four Aurors who had accompanied him exchanged looks. They had only just drawn their wands to intervene, and already...
Feeling contemptuous gazes coming from every direction, the four Aurors broke into cold sweats and could only retreat awkwardly to one side.
