The Desolate Region.
Without a sound, a figure descended upon this land and stood outside an ancient city, gazing toward the end of the horizon.
"The entrance to the Small World is right here," Lin Fan murmured, brilliant immortal light swirling in his sharp eyes.
He was referring to the Hundred Broken Mountains. He had explored this place before and was no stranger to it.
This was a peculiar place, a sealed Small World from the Primordial Era. Anyone inside would be restricted, their cultivation suppressed.
It opened on its own only once every span of years, and only for a limited time. Ordinarily, it revealed no trace of itself.
"This is the work of a Supreme!" Lin Fan concluded after examining it.
Then he acted, forcibly opening the seal. As an Immortal, he far surpassed a Supreme and naturally possessed that ability.
Crack!
An enormous bolt of black lightning erupted among the mountains, tearing through the void as a Small World emerged.
"Hmm?"
At that moment, Lin Fan sensed something amiss. Something seemed to have gone wrong with this Small World. It was different from over a decade ago.
In the distance, endless white mist churned like a tide, sweeping through heaven and earth.
On closer inspection, however, it was not mist at all, but countless dandelion seeds, each sparkling and white as snow.
"Ah..."
At the same time, as snowy white flurries danced through the air, the entire Small World descended into chaos. All manner of creatures screamed as blood splashed.
Most horrifying of all, any creature invaded by a dandelion seed had all its flesh and blood drained in an instant, leaving only a skin behind.
"Pu Demon Trees!" Lin Fan's expression immediately darkened as he recognized what was happening.
