Lin Fan fought Qu Zhong, a titan of the Boundary Sea, and drove him into a desperate flight after damaging his Golden Gourd and wounding him severely. Qu Zhong escaped into the Foreign Realm, leaving Lin Fan to turn toward the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths.

• Lin Fan clashed with Qu Zhong, damaged his Golden Gourd, and struck him hard with a Fist Seal while his weapons and Immortal King primordial spirits pressed the attack.
• Qu Zhong fled, but Lin Fan pursued him through the Boundary Sea and repeatedly fought him along the way.

• Lin Fan chased the bloodied Kundi through the Foreign Realm and followed him to a peaceful ancient land centered on a golden divine temple.
• Kundi gathered several Immortal Kings, but Lin Fan struck one who challenged him and forced the others to retreat when Kundi began an incantation.
• A colossal black shadow emerged from the temple, and Lin Fan recognized it as resembling a creature once summoned by the Red King.

• Kundi summoned eight shadows that fused into a powerful opponent, but Lin Fan trapped it in his Sixth Realm and refined it until it dissipated.
• Kundi and the kings awakened the Origin Ancient Artifact, whose light failed to harm Lin Fan, allowing him to escape into another universe.

• Lin Fan attacked the Foreign Realm’s World Tree, fought off its guardians, and used a bloody flying sword to cut the trunk down.
• As the Foreign Realm’s Immortal Kings attacked, Lin Fan detonated several king-level primordial spirits to escape their encirclement.

Lin Fan returned to find the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths devastated, then reunited with the survivors in Emperor City and mourned the many fallen. He later entered the Burial Ground, where a Burial King welcomed him inside.

• Lin Fan surveyed the ruined world and found Shi Hao, Gu Ancestor, the old masters, and other survivors gathered in Emperor City.

Lin Fan visited the Burial Ground, entrusted Cao Yusheng and Big Black’s remains to Burial King Huo Heng, and discovered that the First Spirit Root contained one part of the Fake Medicine Seller. He took the plant away to study it, despite warnings that its hidden master could return and bring great trouble.

• Lin Fan asked Huo Heng to bury Cao Yusheng and Big Black in the Burial Earth, and Huo Heng’s subordinates placed them in all-things soil.
• Han Zhuo showed Lin Fan the First Spirit Root and explained that it was one of six immortal medicines containing the divided body of the Fake Medicine Seller.
• The First Spirit Root approached Lin Fan, and he declared that he would face its true body rather than let it benefit from him without cost.
