After mastering the Indestructible Scripture, He Xian left seclusion to seek battle and traveled to the Red King Clan’s ancestral land to challenge Chi Menghong. He revealed that he belonged to the Crane Clan, and Snake Yaksha backed down after learning his identity.
He Xian entered Red King City to challenge Chi Menghong and tested his strength against the Red King's heir. The Red King's Supreme arranged for the two young talents to duel in the Supreme Martial Arena.
He Xian and Chi Menghong fought before a vast crowd in Red King City, each seeking to establish his supremacy among the younger generation. He Xian broke through Chi Menghong’s Time Domain and shattered his opponent’s arm with a powerful fist, leaving the battle unresolved.
He Xian fought Chi Menghong, breaking the Red King Furnace and Chi Menghong’s Time Stop Ancestral Art. Chi Menghong then burned time with his Time Incense Candles to unleash greater power, while He Xian let him complete the transformation and awaited the deadly battle.
He Xian decisively defeated Chi Menghong in the Supreme Gladiator Arena, earning acclaim across the Foreign Realm. The next day, he wandered through the ancient lands and came upon a vast Sea Waterfall flowing upward into the sky.
He Xian joined Three Burials and Divine Nether in fishing beside the mysterious Sea Waterfall, then unexpectedly hooked a Golden Ancient Battle Garment. As the garment awakened and resonated with He Xian’s Indestructible Scripture, nearby cultivators gathered to witness it.
He Xian obtained the Indestructible Battle Garment and created the Ancestral Art Heaven Devourer, earning a place on the golden roll. He set out to challenge the Emperor Clans and entered the sinister valley of the Heavenly Blade Mantis ancestral land.
He Xian challenged the Heavenly Blade Mantis to prove his strength and was met by their young champion, Heavenly Blade. The two fought fiercely, and as Heavenly Blade’s power rose, they prepared to unleash their forbidden secret arts.
He Xian and Heavenly Blade fought on equal terms as Heavenly Blade unleashed the demonic blade hidden within his body and He Xian countered with the Indestructible Scripture. After both resolved to leave nothing to chance, Heavenly Blade launched a devastating strike, and He Xian chose to face it head-on.
He Xian defeated Heavenly Blade in a brutal battle at the Heavenly Blade Tribe’s ancestral land, then returned home to enter seclusion and advance his cultivation. As he cultivated, spectacular visions spread across the Crane Clan Ancestral Land, leaving others wondering who was breaking through.
He Xian learned that the Title Ranking Tournament was beginning and watched as its arenas appeared across the Foreign Realm, drawing prodigies out of seclusion. He had helped arrange the early tournament and was pleased that the gathered competitors would make his plans easier.
The Foreign Realm's ranking tournament began, and young fighters competed across its arenas for a chance to advance. After Zhan Feng, who carried a quarter of the An Lan Clan's true blood, challenged the crowd without opposition, He Xian's son He Wushuang stepped forward to face him.
He Xian effortlessly defeated Zhan Feng after blocking the An Lan descendant’s golden spear techniques. An Yu then entered the arena and unleashed the legendary Red Peak Spear, setting up his battle with He Xian.
He Xian defeated An Yu, a prodigy of An Lan's lineage, and tried to recruit him as a follower. After An Yu refused and his followers threatened him with An Jing's arrival, He Xian killed them, leaving the arena in stunned silence.
He Xian grew tired of waiting for An Jing and entered the second arena, where contestants had to fight until only ten survived. After killing a Mantis-Centipede with one punch, he began clearing the arena by force.
He Xian advanced through the arena until he faced a great Gu Clan cultivator at the peak of the escape one realm. After breaking the cultivator’s spatial restraint and entering a mysterious heightened state, He Xian battered him with a devastating Immortal Fist, leaving the fight unresolved.
He Xian battled a great Gu Clan cultivator who wielded the powers of time and space, and the deadly exchange inspired him to consider fusing his primordial spirit with his body. After his Heaven Devourer Furnace was shattered, He Xian invoked Kundi's forbidden art, Three Bodies, Three Lives, and challenged his opponent with newfound supreme power.
He Xian defeated Gu Rong in a fierce battle, overcoming the Gu Clan cultivator’s time-reversal powers. Gu Rong ended his own life and entrusted his flesh, Dao, and soul flame to He Xian, who began absorbing them to strengthen his Heaven Devourer art.
After defeating Gu Rong, He Xian reached the fourth arena badly weakened by the backlash from the Three Lives Great Method, and his attempts to heal his Dao injury failed. When contestants from the Emperor Clans gathered and began ordering other fighters to leave, Ming Si singled out He Xian and mocked his injury and mixed-blood heritage, prompting He Xian to open his eyes.
He Xian reunited with Chi Menghong and faced the arrival of Heavenly Blade as the Fourth Arena prepared for a brutal free-for-all. While He Xian healed, Chi Menghong and Heavenly Blade guarded him, and the arena battle began without He Xian waking.
Chi Menghong and the other surviving Emperor Clan and King Clan fighters began choosing opponents for a series of battles. Qing Kun attacked the injured He Xian, but He Xian broke through his devouring arts and crushed him; Qing Kun then swallowed a nearby King Clan prodigy to replenish his strength.
He Xian killed Qing Kun, then fought Chi Menghong despite his damaged essence. Chi Menghong transformed into the Red King Furnace and revealed the secret art he had gained from his clan’s blood pool, leaving the battle raging.
He Xian defeated Chi Menghong despite his Red King Furnace manifesting an Immortal King’s phantom, but his severe Dao injury left him weakened. Ming Si and the other Emperor Clan beings turned their killing intent toward He Xian, who challenged them to attack together.
He Xian challenged the Emperor Clan experts to attack him together, hoping to devour them and heal his Great Dao injuries. He fought off Yu Yu and Wu Kun, then faced Suo Gu’s powerful punch.
He Xian fought four Emperor Clan heirs at once, overwhelming their attacks and killing another opponent as the battle shook the arena. Yu Yu, Wu Kun, and Suo Gu finally attacked him together, and Yu Yu unleashed his Heaven-Opening Fist as the fight continued.
