Pain, defiance, fervor, madness-
They could almost see a Five-Colored Phoenix struggling and shrieking in the depths of that hall, black light coiling around his wings. He was clearly enduring tremendous pain; even a Dark Dao Prover could not retain his sanity amid such torment.
At that moment, many also looked in another direction. At the highest seat of the Dark Heavenly Court, a man likewise wreathed in five-colored radiance sat majestically upon the Dark Throne, allowing the phoenix who shared his blood to cry out without making a move.
