69 Rose Street, Backlund.
Klein stood before a handsome two-story terraced house.
Out of a detective's professional diligence, and because of the faint unease lingering in his heart, he had come here after all.
Had it been anyone else, he would not have needed to do this. But remembering how badly the man had hurt him back in Tingen, he decided to gather more clues and take the initiative into his own hands.
Based on the information he had obtained from his short employer and the results of his divination, Klein was certain that Lorne Dysenk had rented the second floor of this house while in Backlund.
He had initially intended to knock on the door as a friend of Lorne's and conduct some routine inquiries.
But on second thought, he knew almost nothing about the man's actual circumstances. If the landlord asked for details, his cover would easily fall apart. Revealing himself as a detective, meanwhile, might provoke hostility and a refusal to cooperate.

"It should be fine."
Klein felt that, as he was already a Sequence 7, quietly searching an ordinary house should not pose much of a problem, even if there were some risks.
Besides, he had somehow ended up joining a secret organization, leaving him with little free time.
He sighed at the thought of the two teammates still staying in his home.
An unmarried man and woman living under the same roof... What on earth was that Five of Clubs thinking?
