"Help?" Lorne was a little puzzled. He did not understand why Katarina had suddenly brought this up.
"Yes." Katarina nodded and smiled at Lorne.
"Mr. Gentleman, you seem to be in quite a hurry. Have you... run into some trouble?"

Before Lorne could answer, Katarina continued on her own in a sincere tone:

"You..." Lorne deliberately put on a skeptical expression. He wanted to see exactly what she was up to.
"What? Are you doubting me?" Katarina pursed her lips in displeasure.

She leaned forward slightly and lowered her voice. "The shipping company my family runs does have some influence at sea.
"And we have some business dealings with the Governor's Mansion, too. So if you really have gotten into trouble, I'm sure I can help."
