"Whose prayer?" Neph asked him with interest. "The timing—well, it's hard to say."

"It should be the little ' Sun '," Klein replied, "and it doesn't seem to be anything urgent—"

"Go take a look," Neph shook her head, "And pull me up too!"

This meant they wanted to hear what the prayer was about and what the person wanted to achieve. Klein thought about it for a moment and didn't refuse, but casually asked, "Why are you interested in this?"

Neph said mysteriously, "If it's Little Sun, then I think I know why he prayed. Did you give them the ' Silver Knight ' Potion recipe?"

Klein paused for a moment, then nodded.

"Then that's it," Neph smiled, resting her chin on her hand. "They've come to ask for the God’s Blessing."

Upon hearing this, Klein looked somewhat surprised and asked uncertainly, "I remember they should have a Level 0 Sealed Artifact, right?"

Neph shrugged and simply smiled, "If I'm not mistaken, you'll have to ask him why he didn't pray to me."

O

"Okay," Klein agreed.

City of Silver, top of the Round Tower.

Derrick waited a moment, and then a response came, but it was quite different from what he had expected. "Miss ' Pure White ' asked me to ask you why you don't pray to Him?"

Derrick paused for a few seconds, then rearranged the prayer.

He didn't question the use of "he." Klein paid great attention to detail when playing the role. Although "the world" still referred to her as "she" after Neph ascended to the status of Angel, in the Fool's mouth, "Miss Pure White" was already "He."

No one in the Tarot Club asked why the title had changed; they all realized that Miss "Pure White" had finally surpassed a certain limit and become a true Mythical Creature.

Derrick quietly re-engraved the Symbol, the Chief seemingly unsure of whom he would decide to pray to, or how many prayers he would need to pray, having prepared quite a bit of material for him.

A moment later, Derrick received a response from "Pure White" as he had hoped. With mixed feelings, he left the room and returned to the room where the Chief was.

The Chief noticed his outward display of emotion and a sense of unease rose within him. Just as he was about to ask if anything had gone wrong, Derrick spoke up, "Miss Pure White said that if you need a response, you'd better hurry, or she might already be in City of Silver."

"----?" The Chief's expression shifted. "Where is He now?"

"I don't know." Derrick shook his head honestly.

There was no other way. After pondering for a few seconds, the Chief didn't ask Derrick why he had chosen Miss "Pure White" instead of Mr. Fool, but instead asked, "If I want to ask for His blessing, what should I do?"

Derrick began describing the corresponding Symbol, Honorific Name, Essential Oil, and other details. After finally confirming everything, the Chief nodded slightly and said to him, "I need to begin preparing for the promotion Ritual. You may return now."

Derrick sincerely wished him success. "You will definitely succeed!"

The Chief nodded slightly, accepting the blessing. After watching Derrick leave, the Chief did not immediately pray. He went into the opposite room, checked the remaining items and the makeshift Altar, got up thoughtfully, and returned to the room.

"Two sets of materials—" he murmured, his expression unreadable.

"Do I really have to give up this identity?" Klein asked, unwilling to give up. "Is there no other option?"

"Unless you're willing to let me impersonate you," Neph chuckled, "You won't have enough time in the Forsaken Land of the Gods. Kotar's survival from the Second Epoch to now isn't just due to luck."

"Then I might as well give up this identity." Klein glared at her.

Neph shrugged and asked, "Why are you so reluctant to give up this identity? Isn't George III already dead?"

"But this identity also includes assets!" Klein replied.

Neph couldn't help but laugh. She shook her head helplessly and suggested, "Why don't you donate?"

39

"Huh?" Klein looked at Neph hesitantly.

Neph thought for a moment and said, "It's definitely too late for you to convert it into cash now. Of course, you can try entrusting it to someone else, such as Miss Justice. I think she would be happy to handle these matters."

"But I don't think it's necessary. Angel have transcended the realm of mortals and have little need for money or material possessions. Besides, you're going to be Miracle Invoker," so you certainly can't just sit there and work like the Angel in the Church.

"Besides, even if you're really short of money, you can just go to the Sea and get some, or even go busking on the street, Mr. Magician?"

What she said actually makes sense—the most important thing is that most of the money from those industries is currently being used to maintain Dwayne Dantès's persona; what I truly need can't be bought with money anymore.

Klein hesitated for a few seconds, then agreed to the suggestion, "I can talk to Miss Justice about this—well, but I still think we should wait a few days before leaving, otherwise Melissa might send me a letter—"

"Have your Messenger deliver the letter to Leonard!" Neph declared decisively. "He knows your sister and your identity. Even if he knows you're still in contact, it won't matter. You can simply send the letter to him and have him deliver it through the Fool."

After calming his mind and meditating to adjust his state, Colin Iliad began to concoct the Potion.

The "Silver Knight's" Potion was a pale white liquid, seemingly containing a fragment of mercury. Colin gazed at the Potion before him and whispered, "Great God of Winter— "

"The great God of Winter;"

--

"You are the Witness of Everything, the Remembrance of everything;"

You are the Ruler of Ice and Snow;

"You are the End of Passing ----"

Neph listened to the prayer with her eyes lowered, then looked at Klein opposite her and sighed softly, saying, "Perhaps I should add ' Empress of Winter's End ' to her Honorific Name— "

"You've reminded me of something," Klein glanced at her. "Miss Justice told me that in the square, they weren't praying to George III, but to the Winter's End Empress —who is that, anyway?"

"It's me now," Neph said.

Klein shook his head, reminding her, "But you seem to have gone a bit too far— the Royal Family is dealing with the lingering effects of George III and doesn't have the energy to spare for the time being, but the nobles have already begun searching for this so-called Winter's End Empress."

"Well, not the established nobles, but some young nobles who are interested in the Mysticism— "

"----?" Neph's expression turned strange. "Then I can only wish them good luck, just like I wished the Chief luck."

She closed her eyes slightly, and the cold White Mist surged, piercing through the halo of prayer and turning into snowflakes.

Colin Iliad looked up as large snowflakes appeared in mid-air, falling one after another onto him. As Sequence 4 Saint, he felt a chill that penetrated to his very soul. He instinctively reached out and caught a snowflake, which quickly melted at his fingertips, leaving only the bone-chilling cold.

But this chill caused no harm whatsoever, as if it were just an illusion. Colin Iliad gently fluttered his Frost- covered eyelashes and realized that the blessing he had been waiting for had arrived.

Can this really be considered a blessing?

Colin Iliad took a deep breath, stepped forward, picked up the bottle of "Silver Knight" Potion, and drank it all in one gulp.

"He succeeded?" Klein asked with a smile when he saw her open her eyes.

"Yes," Neph sighed, "He's still not devout enough. The first thing he did after the Ritual was to experiment on my abilities instead of praising me."

"You remind me of something," Klein said, glancing at her thoughtfully, "Great God of Winter, what gesture should I make when I want to praise you?"

Neph hesitated for two seconds, then said sincerely, "I have a suggestion, but I'm sure you won't agree to it."

"What?" Klein asked curiously.

Neph opened her arms, tilted her head slightly, and made an embracing gesture, explaining, "This is the prayer gesture of the Eternal Blazing Sun." In Church corresponding Holy Bible, this gesture is interpreted as embracing the Sun. In fact, this gesture originated in the Third Epoch and is the prayer gesture of our My Lord. Even now, we still use this gesture in relatively formal occasions.

"For example, Descent Ritual— "

"That was certainly formal," Klein's lips twitched slightly, "But I still prefer the way you make the sign of the Cross; it makes me feel like I'm home."

Neph raised an eyebrow and asked curiously, "Did you know any Christians before? Or Catholics? Hmm, there are so many denominations, I've never been able to tell them apart—"

"I don't recognize it," Klein said, "But I've collected Eggs from there."

"???" Neph's eyes widened. "You've been there too?"

"I've actually never been," Klein shook his head, "But it sounds like you have."

"To be precise, it was my mom who went to collect them—" Neph rolled her eyes, "I hope my My Lord doesn't repeat this event in the future—no, if He does repeat it, could you use your Marionette Dolls to get more Eggs by making up the numbers?"

"If I have the chance, I will pass these words on to your Lord," Klein said, suppressing a laugh.

Neph paused for half a second, then raised her hand and drew an Inverted Cross in front of her chest.

Klein stared at her, somewhat puzzled, and said, "Actually, I have no problem with you using this Prayer Gesture —why do you think I would disagree?"

"Do you believe it?" Neph looked at him with a smile, "For certain high beings, when your prayer gestures point to three gods simultaneously, it is up to them to decide whom you believe in."

Klein's smile vanished. He stared at Neph, wary. "Who exactly are you referring to?"

"There's more than one," Neph said quietly, "Which is why I won't use that gesture."

Klein gave up asking further questions. He made a mental note of it and then asked, "So, what will you use?"

"I don't know," Neph said. "You know, I really like that gesture of embracing snowflakes."

"One second it was embracing the Sun— " Klein couldn't help but complain.

"It's the third second now." Neph shrugged.

Klein was speechless. He changed the subject. "Shall we set off now?"

"You could also leave a will," Neph suggested sincerely. "After all, it's unlikely that Dwayne Dantès will be re-released anytime soon, so you can say goodbye to everyone properly—"

"----You talk as if I'm some kind of gacha-limited character!" Klein glared at her.

Neph smiled and said, "Who knows? After all, I didn't get to see the game based on you. Maybe the development team really did turn it into a gacha game, and then made you and other characters from different periods and scenes, and put them into the gacha pool—"

"Ah, I've already thought of a name for the gacha pool and how to name it: ' Historical Void.' We can summon familiar people from the Historical Void, like your brother and sister—"

"Wait a minute," Klein raised his hand, "Why did I summon two ordinary people from the Historical Void?"

"Your sister is now Beyonder," Neph reminded him.

"Then why did I use my Sequence 3 ability to summon a Sequence 9?" Klein asked humbly.

"Let's build a deck," Neph said.

"----?" Klein stared at Neph, his expression puzzled.

"You can make bond cards," Neph shrugged. "Having an older brother and sister around gives you a boost—you probably make these more often when playing cards, right?"

Klein couldn't hold back any longer and complained, "----Your high school experience is so fake, I sometimes wonder what you're doing at school every day?"

"Never mind that," Neph said matter-of-factly. "Anyway, I graduated, and I even got into university. Unlike some emperor who only went to a second-tier university and is now working in sales."

"Wow, there's even educational discrimination here," Klein's lips twitched. "Maybe I should ask what the other two's educational backgrounds are."

"I don't know my sister's educational background," Neph said after thinking for a moment. "In fact, I don't even know my My Lord's either—"

But my sister seems to be a senior executive at that company? As for my My Lord, He—He's a researcher—"

"That's great," Klein sighed. "It sounds like you're the only one who's truly unfortunate. You finally got into university, but you can't go—"

"----?" Neph stared at him expressionlessly.

Klein leaned back in his chair and chuckled contentedly, "I'm going to say my last words now."

"Mr. Fool," Neph gave a polite and courteous smile, "You must take good care of your Holy Bible in the future."

She vanished in a White Mist. Klein shook his head dismissively and got up to make arrangements for Dwayne Dantès' funeral.

There wasn't much for him to do. The most important thing was to meet with "Justice" Audrey and "The Star" Leonard to talk about his plans. Therefore, he focused most of his attention on waiting for Melissa's letter. However, he did not receive a letter from Melissa until they set off.

"I'm very worried," Klein said to Neph. "Are you sure she's not in trouble?"
