His instincts as a "Mystery Pryer" told him the answer.
Someone was trying to write his fate.
-Fuck you, Ince Zangwill.
The corner of Nimrod's mouth twitched involuntarily. He took a deep breath and deftly began dragging the gray mist in front of him.
The gray mist now surrounded him like an enormous wraparound screen. Though he had never systematically learned how to use the power of Sefirah Castle, what he was doing felt like some kind of instinct.
Yes, instinct.
He instinctively wielded Sefirah Castle's power-even though it was difficult to extend that power into the real world, the abilities he could use only Above the Gray Fog were enough to give him capabilities far beyond those of Beyonders of the same pathway.
Nimrod's spirit body atop Sefirah Castle gradually warped and transformed, turning dark and radiating a dim glow. A yellow-and-black cloak slowly took shape behind him, while slick, shadowy tentacles covered in sinister patterns extended from beneath his body.
Now he looked almost exactly like the Celestial Worthy.
Still, he felt something was missing. After a moment's thought, he suddenly beckoned into the gray fog, drawing a Monocle, a starlit eyeball, and a translucent mask out of the grayish-white mist beside him.
The three items came together over Nimrod's face, concealing it. He nodded in satisfaction.
Apart from the fact that all three items were mere illusions with appearance but no power, he already looked very much like the Celestial Worthy.
"This look is pretty intimidating. With three Uniquenesses stuck to my face, even God Almighty would have to offer me a toast."
Nimrod's lips moved as he spoke to himself above the empty gray mist:
"It's just a shame this is only a paper tiger. Unless I'm willing to let the Celestial Worthy's will revive directly
