The Character Status Panel seemed more responsive than before. Previously, Bruce would have had to remember to open it before he could discover whether anything had changed.
Bruce opened the Character Status Panel. Sure enough, something had changed. The Grand Trend had issued a new notification, but unlike the previous ones, this one was very explicit.
"Act two of your dark destiny has officially begun. Events involving Julius will affect your fate. Make your choices with care."
Was this a quest notification?
The events involving Julius were act two, while those involving the Dark Bible had been act one. All this talk of acts really did make it sound like an opera.
Bruce pondered the meaning of the message.
The Grand Trend's notification pointed him in a particular direction. It was not merely warning him that something important was about to happen, but hinting that he needed to get involved in Julius's affairs. What effect that involvement would have on him, however, Bruce had no idea.
Make his choices with care? How was he supposed to choose without any options?
He knew practically nothing about Julius, only that he was a Wizard and had kept a magical manuscript in his woodland cabin in Imoyins.
Could there be clues in that manuscript?
"Leave this child in the church's care. You have no objections, do you, Mr. Wayne?" Ernest looked at Bruce. Why did this Nightwalker seem so distracted?
