Archer hurried over from Nov Village.
The original plan had been for him to cover Bradley's retreat, disrupting the Night Watchers' operations in Nov Village and holding them back to buy Bradley time. But when he noticed Cameron and the others leaving Nov Village so quickly, he felt something was wrong.
Cameron and his group had moved too quickly. They must have already secured the Gargoyle. Bradley had said that the Mistvale Family knew his objective, which meant Cameron and the others would inevitably head to Wayne Manor.
Archer had encountered Cameron before. He was powerful, and if he went to Wayne Manor, he would certainly interfere with Bradley's operation. Bradley might fail to obtain what he had planned for.
After some thought, Archer decided to leave the Night Watchers alone. There were too many of them for him to cause much disruption. He needed to consider the bigger picture, so he immediately headed for Lane Village.
Everything happened just as he had expected. He heard an explosion, and by the time he arrived, Bradley was already injured.
Although he did not know what had happened inside the manor, why Bradley was so badly injured, or what had caused the explosion, Archer knew Bradley was in grave danger. He had to save him, no matter what.
Without hesitation, Archer loosed his arrows.
Bruce had been debating whether to act. When Cameron made his move, Zatanna, Bruce, Natasha, and Sandra charged toward Bradley in unspoken accord. This was the best opportunity to take the Sharon Family's heir into custody. Bruce also wanted to know what this supposed fate of enslavement by darkness meant.
But barely had they moved when four sharp arrows embedded themselves in the ground before their feet. Spirituality power trembled within the shafts, which exploded an instant later.
