Gul'dan soon found the Teleportation Beacon in the sealed space and teleported to the next of Oculeth's experimental areas.
It looked like an arcane maze built by Nightborne mages, but Gul'dan knew perfectly well that it was merely a teleportation network constructed from areas of various sizes linked by simple Teleportation Anchors.
Although Gul'dan could not work out the patterns of each teleportation point in such a short time, he could take the simplest, most brutal approach: destroy the beacons in each teleportation area.
As long as he kept eliminating the wrong options, Thalyssra and Oculeth would have nowhere to hide within the teleportation spaces. Sooner or later, they would fall into his hands.
The arcane energy flowing within these teleportation spaces formed a closed system. That meant the spaces had only one exit, and Gul'dan had already destroyed it.
If Thalyssra and Oculeth wanted to leave, they would have to do so through the previous Teleportation Anchor, which meant they would have to face Gul'dan.
The arcane teleportation network Oculeth had spent a century building operated with exquisite precision. Any creature entering it from outside had no hope of escaping his control.
He could freely alter the Teleportation Beacons, keeping any creature that entered the teleportation spaces trapped inside.
But Oculeth had never imagined that Thalyssra would bring a monster back from the ruins outside Suramar City.
That monster was powerful enough to destroy an entire teleportation area at will.
Oculeth and Thalyssra were caught in a dilemma, struggling to devise a plan. Meanwhile, Gul'dan was confronting the second teleportation space.
Compared with the fragile binding magic circles in the first teleportation space, the second proved far more interesting.
This teleportation space had been built inside a vast underground tunnel, and Gul'dan stood at its entrance.
