"Yes, that abandoned temple. When it was raised above the sea, we could clearly see that it was intact," Thalyssra said gravely.
The human Guardian Aegwynn had forcibly hauled the Temple of the Moon, submerged for nearly ten thousand years, out of the sea. The violent tremors caused by its ascent had reached Suramar's royal city.
The shaking within the city had been intense. Elisande and the Nightborne Council had decided to send Thalyssra and the Duskwither Lilies to the Broken Shore outside Suramar's royal city to investigate the cause of the violent disturbances at sea.
By the time Thalyssra arrived at the Broken Shore, magic had restored the ancient Temple of the Moon to pristine condition, and soft moonlight once again drifted from its towering spires.
To prevent interference with the sealing ritual, Aegwynn had placed numerous complex magical defensive wards around the Temple of the Moon.

After making some comparisons, Thalyssra discovered that the demonic corpse bore an uncanny resemblance to the Master of the Burning Legion who had appeared during the War of the Ancients-Sargeras.
Thalyssra could not imagine how a human had defeated the ultimate embodiment of the Burning Legion's destruction and chaos.
Thalyssra had witnessed Sargeras's might firsthand. Had Azeroth possessed enough energy to allow him to
