After receiving Rowan's orders, Moss immediately set out for Northflow Coast in Silverpine Forest.
Three years earlier, Northflow Coast had been nothing more than a small fishing village by the sea. The villagers lived off the waters, fishing for their livelihood. In their spare time, they took odd jobs at the harbor, loading and unloading cargo for the Agamand family's fleet to supplement their income.
The Agamand family had shown little interest in developing Northflow Town. Their businesses were all local, and Kul Tiras dominated maritime trade. Building a harbor would only benefit someone else.
Back then, the family's leaders still had to bow to Lordaeron's old nobles. Even if they had long-term plans, they first had to find money to line those noble lords' pockets.
As for Lordaeron's royal family, Terenas already held a deep prejudice against the Two Great Families. Naturally, he would not offer policies or funding to support towns within their territories.
But after Aemeth, the Agamand family's rising star, came into her own and helped Rowan complete Kul Tiras's economic reforms, the family had been forced to reconsider its choice of heir.
However, Aemeth had not given the family elders much time to deliberate before Comecon began applying heavy pressure, forcing them to place her in charge of the Agamand family.
With Rowan and Ilucia's help, Aemeth had become the Agamand family's leader while reforming its merchants' guild trading system and bringing it into Comecon. She had also become one of Comecon's five committee members.
Still, her title as a committee member ultimately fell short of Ilucia's position.
But what could she do? Ilucia had found herself a good man.
There was no competing with that. None at all.
After Aemeth took power, Northflow Town developed rapidly, becoming the only major port in western Lordaeron.
