Azuremyst Isle
Khadgar had always believed that the route between Draenor and Azeroth relied on a beacon provided by the naaru, embodiments of the Holy Light.
Yet the naaru had never appeared in Azeroth's history. These miraculous creatures of the Holy Light had never bestowed the slightest blessing upon the beings of Azeroth.
Still, the doubts in Khadgar's mind did not linger for long.
Aboard the Exodar's final voyage bound for Azuremyst Isle on Azeroth, Khadgar discovered to his surprise that the teleportation beacon led to a fixed anchor point.

Khadgar's first thought was of the last Guardian. Could the visions I saw before have all been real?
After arriving on Azuremyst Isle, Khadgar spent some time helping Yrel at the construction site of their new home.

After returning to his homeland, Khadgar had originally intended to take the Expeditionary Force stationed on Azuremyst Isle back to Azeroth.
But after three consecutive return trips to Draenor, the Exodar's internal energy reserves were depleted. Even the naaru Adara had fallen into slumber.
Without sufficient arcane energy or a corresponding anchor point, Khadgar could not cast a teleportation spell powerful enough to take over a thousand expeditionary soldiers back to the Eastern Kingdoms using his own energy alone.
Still, Khadgar did not sit idle. His first priority was to bring the soldiers home.
Khadgar took a large quantity of Lightforging Crystals from Azure Watch's newly built armory.
The crystals
