After the National Preceptor fled amid Gu Changsheng’s arrival of the Golden Court Grotto-heaven, Li Rui defeated Zhou Tong and set out with Yuan An to find Gu Changsheng.

• Li Rui cultivated at the East Sea and opened a vast Violet Palace Realm, drawing Gu Changsheng’s attention to the surge in Great Yu’s fortune.
