The person who stopped the Fourth Kazekage was none other than Zou Hyuga.
After the Fourth Kazekage saw through his identity, Zou gave an awkward smile. While in the village, he disliked changing his chakra's scent, so it was only natural that he had been recognized.
"You still remember a nobody like me, Lord Kazekage?"
"Of course..." The Fourth Kazekage nodded lightly and smiled. "Your performance against the Akatsuki was outstanding. Even the Masked Man and Orochimaru couldn't get the better of you in the short term."
In that battle, Shisui had naturally drawn the most attention by activating his Susanoo, but the other members of the team could not be overlooked. Guy had held out against Orochimaru for a long time, while Oto Uchiha had helped Shisui drive back the Masked Man.
Even Zou Hyuga, the least conspicuous among them, had helped repel Orochimaru and found Gaara.
"You flatter me... I was just lucky." After a pause, Zou asked, "Lord Kazekage, how is Gaara doing? I remember Shukaku and Hiruko gave him quite a fright."
At the mention of Gaara, the Fourth Kazekage's smile faded, and his expression grew solemn.
Seeing his expression, Zou smiled. "Gaara inherited your talent, Lord Kazekage. That child may well become one of Sunagakure's strongest shinobi someday."
The Fourth Kazekage nodded slightly, then left the street near the Ninja Academy.
Watching him leave, Zou's smile vanished. He turned his gaze toward the nearby Ninja Academy.
He had not intended to show himself before the Fourth Kazekage, but the Ninja Academy was indeed no place for foreign envoys to wander. Its lower grades currently brought together the heirs of the major shinobi villages.
One could say that if all those heirs were taken out in one fell swoop, Konoha's ninja clans would fall into chaos
