"A catastrophe for the Shinobi World?!"
After hearing those words from Teacher Tobirama, the Third frowned. He knew full well that Teacher Tobirama was not someone who joked lightly, so there had to be a deeper meaning behind his claim.
Still, whether the Teacher Tobirama standing before him was being controlled by someone else's will was another matter.
Forgive me, the Third thought, letting his gaze pass over Tobirama and settle on the two people behind him. The weaker one looked like a puppeteer from Sunagakagure, his figure hidden beneath a trench coat.
The ninja who made their hearts tremble, however, was dressed far more simply.
He wore an entirely ordinary ninja outfit, his face concealed by a plain-colored mask. He looked like just another guard in a crowd.
But the Third did not dare underestimate him in the slightest. Rumor had it that some powerful shinobi who concealed their identities had a habit of disguising themselves as genin, then revealing strength far beyond their supposed rank at just the right moment, amusing themselves as they wandered the world.
After a moment's thought, the Third looked at the disguised Zou Hyuga and said, "I am Konoha's Third Hokage. I have come to this meeting as requested. May I ask why you invited us here, and what exactly this catastrophe facing the Shinobi World is?"
Zou Hyuga glanced at the Third and said calmly, "Let your Second Hokage explain it to you. I obtained some of my information from him and Orochimaru, after all. The First Hokage was already defeated in that battle. If Orochimaru hadn't kept a contingency in reserve..."
Zou Hyuga paused there and gave Tobirama a meaningful look.
For certain matters, words spoken by Tobirama, their grandfather and teacher, would carry more weight than those of an outsider
