Momokusa Harukawa smiled and said to Ruri, "It's fine. You didn't disturb them. I was just tidying my room at home! We'd only just finished dinner. My mom was clearing away the dishes, and my dad was reading in the living room, so you really don't need to worry about disturbing them!"
"That's good. I thought I'd disturbed them. Oh, right, what exactly did you come to see me about this afternoon? I almost forgot!" Ruri nodded, then asked Momokusa Harukawa.
"Now that you mention it, I really did almost forget! I came to ask you this afternoon if you'd go shopping with me tonight. I need to buy a few things! If you hadn't just asked, I really would've forgotten!" Momokusa Harukawa said with a smile.
Now, the two of them seemed very well matched, as though they were born with the look of a married couple. Besides, they probably counted as childhood sweethearts now.
As mentioned before, Ruri had feelings for Momokusa Harukawa, and Momokusa Harukawa had feelings for Ruri too. Neither of them was willing to cross that line, though, probably because they felt they were still too young.
"Then do you have anything to do right now?" Ruri asked, looking at Momokusa Harukawa.
Momokusa Harukawa shook her head and said to Ruri, "I don't have anything to do right now. Why don't we go shopping now? The sooner we finish, the sooner we can go home!"
Ruri nodded, then said to her, "All right, it's settled, then. Let's go now!"
After Ruri finished speaking, Momokusa Harukawa nodded and said, "I'm so happy I get to go shopping with you, Ruri! If only we could do this every day in the future!"
