After following Momokusa Harukawa to the food section, Ruri spotted plenty of snacks and some meats he liked, so he bought quite a few things himself. He had originally intended only to accompany Harukawa while she shopped, without buying anything himself, but since everything he came across was something he liked, he bought it after all.
And so Ruri and Momokusa Harukawa walked out of the big store, each carrying a huge pile of snacks.
"I really never thought I'd buy this much. I was only planning to come shopping with you and let you do the buying, but now... sigh!" Ruri said with a wry smile as he looked at the large bag of things in his hands.
"Oh, forget it. It's all food I like anyway. What's bought is bought. It'll save me another trip later!" Ruri thought for a moment, then smiled and spoke to Momokusa Harukawa beside him.
Seeing him like this, Momokusa Harukawa merely covered her mouth and chuckled without saying anything.
Ruri reached out and took the huge pile of things from Momokusa Harukawa's hands, then smiled at her. "Let me carry these. I'm a boy, so I should be considerate of girls! Besides, you're so small and skinny that you're bound to get tired after carrying them for a little while!"
"What's wrong with being small and skinny? I can do plenty of work, and I can even teach you a lesson! And when I do, you're not allowed to fight back. Want to give it a try?" Momokusa Harukawa said defiantly after hearing his words.
Hearing this, Ruri hurriedly shook his head. "No, no, I don't want to try that. If you really gave me a beating, I'd be in trouble!"
Only after hearing his answer did Momokusa Harukawa smile smugly. "Hmph!
