After Ruri saw Uzuki Yugao walk over to him and heard what she said, he smiled and said, "Well, we couldn't help it. The Anbu headquarters isn't exactly small, and besides, we were chatting on the way. Of course it took us that long!"
"That's right. We talked about a lot on the way, laughing and chatting! We didn't realize we'd been gone for so long!" Uchiha Itachi walked over to the two of them and spoke with a smile.
Seeing the change in the two of them, Uzuki Yugao smiled and said, "You two really are something. Ruri was still acting like that when you first arrived, and now you're getting along so well! I really can't figure out what you talked about on the way!"
Seeing Uzuki Yugao react like that, Ruri and Uchiha Itachi exchanged a glance, then smiled and told her, "That's our little secret!"
"Tch! Fine, don't tell me. I don't want to hear it anyway. I really don't understand you two!" Uzuki Yugao said disdainfully.
Just then, Kakashi came out from inside.
"Itachi, there's one more person on our team you haven't met. He's our captain, Kakashi Hatake. He's coming over right now!" Seeing Kakashi approach, Ruri smiled and spoke to Uchiha Itachi beside him.
Uchiha Itachi looked in the same direction as Ruri and saw a man wearing a face mask walking toward them.
"Is that our captain, Kakashi Hatake?" Uchiha Itachi turned to Ruri and asked.
"Yes! He has something in common with you: he has a Sharingan too!" Ruri looked at Uchiha Itachi and said with a smile.
Hearing Ruri's words, Uchiha Itachi frowned and asked him, "Oh, really? He has a Sharingan like mine too?"
"Yes. Haven't you heard his story? That Sharingan isn't his own! Let's wait a bit.
