"It smells so good! Whether Mom makes meat or vegetables, it always smells this good!" Neji Hyuga said with a smile after getting up from the ground and catching the scent of food wafting through the air.
After hearing Neji Hyuga's words, Ruri sniffed the aroma in the air too, then smiled at Mei Ling Hyuga. "Aunt Meiling, your cooking smells so good! Whether it was the meat dishes you made at noon or the vegetables you're making now, they all smell wonderful! And I'm sure anything you cook tastes delicious!"
Hearing the two children praise her like that, Mei Ling Hyuga blushed slightly, then said softly, "You two, honestly. I never imagined my cooking could make you say things like that. Thank you so much! If you like it, I'll keep cooking for you!"
After hearing Mei Ling Hyuga's words, Ruri smiled and picked up Neji Hyuga, then went into the bathroom and began washing their hands.
These two children are both such sweet-talkers. People certainly won't treat them poorly out in society! Having these two children makes me very fortunate in this life! If there's another life, I must be their birth mother! Mei Ling Hyuga clasped her hands in front of her chest, then raised her head and looked at the sky with a smile.
Two or three minutes later, Ruri came out of the bathroom carrying Neji Hyuga. They had now washed off all the dirt on them.
"Aunt Meiling, aren't you eating dinner?" Ruri asked Mei Ling Hyuga curiously after walking up to the dining table and seeing two bowls filled with food.
Mei Ling Hyuga turned around and smiled at Ruri. "I won't be eating tonight. I've put on a little weight lately, so I'm on a diet. You two go ahead and eat.
