A meal together

As soon as the gray clone said "Rasengan," a gray, spinning sphere appeared in its hand.

"Holy shit, going all out right from the start?" Ruri was startled by the energy the gray clone unleashed.

Then Ruri smiled and said softly, "Rasengan."

Ruri also used the Rasengan. A blue sphere appeared in his hand, and he charged toward the black clone.

In an instant, the two Rasengan collided, sending a massive shock wave rippling outward. Ruri and the gray clone both staggered back several steps.

"I didn't expect this clone to be so strong!" Ruri said with a smile as he watched the clone retreat.

With that, Ruri circulated the chakra in his body and activated his Byakugan.

"Eight Trigrams Palm: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms."

The moment the gray clone charged at him, Ruri took his stance. As soon as it entered his Eight Trigrams Field, he unleashed Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms.

Within the Eight Trigrams Field, Ruri struck the gray clone with one palm strike after another. In less than a few dozen seconds, every strike of his Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms had landed on it.

As the gray clone went flying, Ruri used the Flame-Flame Fruit's power.

Flames blazed around Ruri's fist as he spoke. Then he thrust his fist forward, sending that mass of fire hurtling toward the gray clone.

The flames struck the gray clone with tremendous force, reducing it to ashes. At the same time, a line of virtual text appeared before Ruri.

"Of course! I'm going out for a meal with two beautiful girls today. How could I get up late?" Ruri said with a smile.

"You're such a sweet-talker. Look, you've made little Harukawa blush!" Linghua Hyuga said after hearing his words.

Sure enough, Momokusa Harukawa's face had instantly turned red again at Ruri's words. She really was shy.

"Haha, I'm only telling the truth. You two really are beautiful!" Ruri Hyuga paid it no mind and continued with a smile, "Have you decided where we're going to eat?"

Reika Hyuga and Momokusa Harukawa exchanged smiles and said sheepishly, "Hehe, we were so tired last night that we fell asleep as soon as we got home, without even thinking about it. Why don't we wander around town and find Akagimaru along the way? Then we can figure out where to eat today!"
