Just then, when the other ninja saw that there was no more movement in the smoke, they were delighted. They were now convinced that Ruri had died inside.

But just then, Ruri had already heard what that enemy said. He instantly vanished from where he stood and appeared behind that enemy.
When Ruri reached the enemy who had just spoken, he gently patted his shoulder and whispered, "Were you talking about me just now?"
That did it. The enemy was instantly scared out of his wits and stood rooted to the spot, unable to move for a long time.
