Everything on this street is so familiar to me. Not much has changed in the few days I've been away. At least I still know what everything is for! After so many days away, I really miss Ichiraku Ramen now. I really want to have his ramen again, Ruri thought with a smile when he saw the Ichiraku Ramen shop.
But I have to say, Teuchi really is a very mysterious person, Ruri thought quietly as he looked at Ichiraku Ramen's sign.
Ruri shook his head, then continued walking home with a smile.
This is wonderful. I'll be home very soon. If there's food cooking when I get back, I'll have a little. If Aunt Meiling hasn't cooked, I'll make them a meal. I have nothing to do right now anyway, Ruri thought with a smile as he neared home.
Ruri quickened his steps, and his pace became considerably faster. Soon, he had arrived at his front door.
This is wonderful. I've finally returned to this warm home, Ruri thought quietly as he looked at the door.
Knock, knock, knock!!! After looking at the door for a few seconds, Ruri knocked on it.
At that moment, Mei Ling Hyuga was still washing vegetables in the courtyard, while Neji Hyuga was still playing with toys on the floor inside.
When Mei Ling Hyuga heard someone knocking on her door, she called out, "Please wait a moment. I'm coming."
After hearing what Mei Ling Hyuga had just said, Ruri thought with a smile, It's been so long since I heard Aunt Meiling's voice. Hearing it now, it really does sound lovely.
I wonder what Aunt Meiling is busy with right now? And what is little Neji doing? Ruri thought quietly as he waited for Mei Ling Hyuga to open the door.
