"Uh... to be honest, I've missed you a lot these past few days too. I've been really down all this time, wondering every day why you still weren't back, and worrying that something might happen to you over there." As Momokusa Harukawa spoke, she held her hands behind her back and traced little circles on the ground with the tip of her toe. She also lowered her head, not daring to look Ruri in the eyes.
Oh my god, how can she be so cute like this? I really like her so much. At the sight of Momokusa Harukawa, Ruri's face instantly flushed, and he thought this with a smile.
"So you've been worrying about me all these days I've been away." Ruri said this to Momokusa Harukawa with a smile.
Upon hearing what Ruri had just said, Momokusa Harukawa immediately returned to her earlier manner. She turned her head aside and pursed her little cherry lips, then said quietly, "I haven't missed you at all. You're just imagining things."
Although Momokusa Harukawa spoke very quietly, Ruri still heard her.
Looks like there's hope. My single life is finally coming to an end. But now isn't the time yet. I'll build up our relationship a little more first. After hearing what Momokusa Harukawa had just whispered, Ruri thought this with a smile.
"All right, all right. Asking you out tonight was partly so I could keep you company. It's my treat tonight. Pick whatever you like, and I'll pay.
