"Damn, what the hell is going on? Wasn't I just heading to the Anbu? Just as I was about to get there, this guy suddenly dragged me here. Who the hell is he?" Ruri came to his senses and shouted at the person who had just been hauling him around.
"C-Captain!" Once Ruri saw what the man looked like, he became so flustered that he could barely speak. The man was none other than his captain, Kakashi.
Ruri stammered quietly to Kakashi, "Captain, what's going on? I was just heading to the Anbu, but then you suddenly pulled me all the way here."
Kakashi listened to what Ruri had just said, then shook his head with a smile before telling him, "All right, all right, you don't need to go to the Anbu anymore. We've received a mission. The others will be here shortly, so let's wait here for a bit. I happened to run into you just now, so I brought you here."
"Oh, so that's it! That's great, then. What mission did we get? Are we going to act as the Third Hokage's bodyguards?" Ruri asked him with a smile after hearing what Kakashi had said.
After hearing Ruri's words, Kakashi told him quietly, "Don't worry. Our mission this time isn't to protect Lord Third Hokage. We have something else to do, so you can rest easy on that front. Besides, this will be your first time doing this kind of mission. I hope you like it."
After hearing what Kakashi had said, Ruri was a little confused about what was going on. From Kakashi's words, this mission sounded rather mysterious.
"Captain, when will the others get here?" Ruri asked Kakashi with a smile.
After hearing Ruri's question, Kakashi looked around, then told him, "Look, here come Yugao
