Making money

At the entrance to the Konoha Ninja Academy, Neji Hyuga watched Meicun Hyuga usher Tianyun Hyuga into the school. He quickened his pace and hurried after Tianyun, intending to talk to him.

When Neji returned home after school yesterday afternoon, he found Nisshu Hyuga at his house.

Nisshu often delivered household supplies to his home, so Neji knew him quite well. But yesterday was not a scheduled delivery day, and his appearance told Neji that he must have come for a reason.

Sure enough, after Nisshu set down the things he had brought, he asked Neji about what Tianyun had been doing at school.

Neji was no fool. He knew Nisshu was asking on Hyuga Hiashi's behalf. Having always hated the Hyuga Main Family, how could Neji possibly tell Nisshu the truth? He gave him a few perfunctory answers, then showed him the door.

After Nisshu left, Neji considered why Hyuga Hiashi had sought him out. In the end, he could think of only one possibility: the New Gentle Fist Tianyun had used. Only that technique would warrant Hyuga Hiashi's attention.

At that thought, Neji could hardly wait to discuss the New Gentle Fist with Tianyun. That way, he could learn its training method before Hyuga Hiashi did, winning against him for the first time and venting some of his hatred.

But Neji could hardly go running to Tianyun's house in the middle of the night. He had no choice but to wait until school the next day to find him.

The moment Neji arrived at the school entrance today, he wanted to approach Tianyun. But with Meicun still there, he felt too awkward to run over, so he continued toward the Ninja Academy at his usual pace.

Once Meicun left, he immediately hurried after Tianyun, calling, "Tianyun Hyuga, wait for me..."

Tianyun had just received two hundred thousand and had no interest in dealing with Neji. As he walked, he deposited the two hundred thousand into the system, then immediately learned the Clone Technique and the Transformation Technique.

After learning the two new Ninjutsu techniques, Tianyun wanted to test them out. Just as Neji caught up, he used the Clone Technique, producing three Tianyun Hyugas.

Then the three Tianyun Hyugas transformed into three Neji Hyugas and ran off in different directions.

Neji had nearly caught up with Tianyun, but Tianyun suddenly used the Clone Technique, then the Transformation Technique to take on his appearance. Neji's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

Neji was no fool. Tianyun was clearly only five years old, yet his execution of the Three Body Technique was flawless. Even Neji had not reached that level. This proved that Tianyun truly was a genius.

Neji stopped and watched the three versions of himself running off into the distance. He did not pursue them, since he was not sure Tianyun would even speak to him. He could only wait until they were in class and sound out Tianyun's attitude.

As Neji walked on, lost in thought, he soon noticed some children near the classroom building giving him strange looks. He was puzzled, with no idea what had happened.

Still confused, Neji had barely entered the classroom building when he encountered three children from the Uchiha Clan. They glared at him angrily and said, "You bastard, Neji Hyuga! Don't think you can bully us just because you're stronger! The three of us are going to teach you a lesson today..."

Neji frowned at the three Uchiha Clan children, none of whom he knew, and asked, "Who are you? I don't even know you. Why are you picking a fight with me..."

Hearing Neji's explanation, one of the Uchiha Clan children flew into a rage. "You bastard! You rushed up to us just now and threw us to the ground without letting us explain, then stole every last bit of our money! Now you dare play dumb? We'll take you on..."

Neji was instantly speechless, because he had already worked out who had caused this trouble for him: Tianyun, disguised as him.

Neji had intended to explain, but the three Uchiha Clan children were already charging at him. His pride would not let him back down, so he fought them right there in the corridor.

Neji lived up to his reputation as a genius. None of the three Uchiha children, who had yet to awaken their eyes, lasted even five moves against him before he knocked them to the ground. With a cold snort, he left the three Uchiha clansmen on the verge of tears and headed toward his classroom.

Delayed by the three Uchiha children, Neji arrived at the Elite Class classroom to find students already inside, including Heigui Inuzuka and Daishi Akimichi, whom Tianyun had defeated yesterday. They were all glaring angrily at Tianyun.

Heigui was the angriest of all, because Tianyun had taken his seat, leaving him no choice but to sit in the last row.

After glancing around the classroom, Neji calmly walked over to Tianyun, who was sprawled listlessly over his desk, and said, "Tianyun Hyuga, what you did just now was wrong. I want to talk to you. Meet me under the big tree by the square after lunch."

Tianyun raised his head and glanced at Neji. "You want to learn my New Gentle Fist, don't you? Bring me the money, and I'll teach you. If you don't have any money, I won't bother with you. Hurry home and get it ready..."

The corner of Neji's mouth twitched. For a moment, he had no idea what to say. Finally, he managed to force out, "Fine. How much do you want to teach me? Name your price!"

Tianyun thought for a moment, then said, "Someone like you must have plenty of money, so I'll charge you a hundred thousand! That's a discounted price..."

A hundred thousand was not a particularly large sum for Neji. He nodded at once. "Fine, I'll pay. I don't have that much on me right now, so I'll go home and get it. Wait half an hour."

Afraid Tianyun might change his mind, Neji dashed out of the classroom as soon as he finished speaking. The other students left in the classroom stared blankly at Tianyun.

Ninja rarely taught their Ninjutsu to others, even when it was Taijutsu. Now Tianyun had sold his technique for just a hundred thousand. It was far too cheap, and the other students could not stand to let the opportunity pass.

Even if it was a secret technique of the Hyuga Clan that they could not practice themselves, taking it home for reference would still be worthwhile. After two minutes, someone finally could not resist coming over to ask, "Tianyun Hyuga, are you still selling your Ninjutsu? I'll pay two hundred thousand, as long as you're willing to teach me..."

Tianyun glanced at the student who had approached him, who seemed to be from a minor clan. Then he glanced at the other students watching him and said flatly, "Neji Hyuga is a member of my clan. That's why I sold it to him so cheaply. If you want to learn from me, bring five hundred thousand, and I'll teach you."
