• Representation of the Original Universe: Its foremost duty is to execute the will of the Original Universe. The Ancestral Gods communicate with that will and receive information from it 129.
• Nonintervention: It remains neutral in conflicts between the pinnacle races and does not take sides in their wars 129.
• Relations with other powers: Respect for its neutrality is an unspoken rule among races and alliances, including humanity, the Demon Race, and the Northern Border Alliance 104.
• Resource policy: It generally remains within its secret realm rather than competing with major powers for resources. It sometimes distributes Beast God Inheritance Tokens and Divine Envoy Inheritance Crystals outside its territory 105.
• Selective investment: It nurtures relatively few beings, but once it selects a candidate, its ability to concentrate and distribute resources surpasses humanity’s 107.

Organization and Hierarchy

The religion has a pyramidal hierarchy: restrictions are strict for lower-ranking inheritors but considerably more relaxed for senior figures and powerful outer members 94 103.

Duty Rotation

• At least one Ancestral God, one reigning Beast God, and a designated complement of Divine Generals and Divine Envoys must remain in the secret realm 103.
• The Thunder Beast God is the reigning Beast God on guard during Li Che’s cultivation there. Its shift lasts 100 million eras, while the other seven Beast Gods may explore or remain in their own secret realms 130.
• Reserve Divine Generals are distinct from official officeholders. Venerable Jiufeng possesses a complete Divine General inheritance but remains a candidate, while Lord Zhui Lei is a reserve for the Four Directions Divine Generals 24 94.

Inheritance System

The religion maintains three principal tiers of inheritance 24.

Completing an inheritance remains valuable even without succeeding to its official position. Venerable Jiufeng reached Universe Overlord strength through a complete Divine General inheritance while still a candidate 24.

Beast God Inheritance

• Distribution: Beast God Inheritance Tokens are scattered among races large and small rather than reserved for the strongest powers. Consequently, even Invincible Kings within major races may struggle to obtain one 95.
• Entry: Arriving candidates must present a valid token to the religion’s receiving guide 94.
• Free opportunities: Each inheritance stage grants one free reception. Further opportunities must be earned through Glory World 97.
• Method: In the inheritance site’s black mist, the Original Universe’s will reveals fusion-law patterns and the Beast God path 97.
• Efficiency: The inheritance includes the blessing of the Original Universe’s will, making comprehension more efficient than studying the underlying inheritance alone 132.
• Advanced requirement: Li Che cannot proceed successfully into the seventh layer after completing the sixth because he has not yet mastered the Beast God Heart 132.

Documented Divine General Paths

• Black Light Divine General — Combines black-hole and ultimate-light methods. Jiufeng identifies Li Che’s techniques as especially compatible with its black-hole aspect 24.
• Four Directions Divine Generals — The inheritance associated with Reserve Divine General Lord Zhui Lei 94.

Ancestral God Secret Realm

• Scale: The largest supermassive Cosmic Secret Realm in the Primal Universe, reaching 160 million light-years at its greatest diameter 94.
• Hazards: Ordinary danger zones can kill Universe Venerables; more dangerous regions have claimed Universe Overlords and Top Universe Overlords 94.
• Black whirlwinds: Common natural phenomena capable of severely injuring or killing Universe Venerables 94.

• Protects each inheritor’s private residential plot, which measures one kilometer across 96.
• Detects changes in divine bodies, including Li Che’s deliberately revealed Universe Venerable transformation 128.
• Transmits orders from the Ancestral Gods 128.
• Recognizes powerful inheritors’ combat strength, watches over them, and can transport them to an audience with an Ancestral God 143.

Membership and Privileges

Recruitment and Obligations

• Possessing a Beast God Inheritance Token does not mean an inheritor has already received the religion’s selective recruitment and support. Purple Kou Venerable evaluates Li Che for membership after he has already lived and cultivated on Purple Thorn Island 95 103.
• Li Che’s recruitment assessment considers his third-layer inheritance comprehension, self-created ultimate technique, gene multiplier, divine-body size, and unexplained physical strength 103.
• Recruited members pledge loyalty to both the religion and the Original Universe’s will. In Li Che’s case, at least one of his presented divine bodies must answer summons 105.
• Upon reaching Universe Master level, Li Che agrees to become a Guardian Beast God and later, when sufficiently strong, a Guardian Divine Lord 129.

Access Restrictions

• Lower-ranking inheritors spend most of their time on Purple Thorn Island and lack ordinary access to the organization’s senior domains 94.
• After publicly becoming a Universe Venerable, Li Che receives powerful Beast God Inheritor privileges and official outer-member status, including free movement through Purple Thorn Island and most other islands 128.
• Entry to the Divine General Continents, Beast God Palaces, and Ancestral God Palace still requires an application 128.
• At recognized Top Universe Overlord combat strength, Li Che can travel freely through most regions of the secret realm 143.

• Loyalty-sensitive support: The previously unaffiliated Insect-Chasing King receives two Supreme Treasures. King Fei Jing, already recruited by the Northern Border Alliance, receives a set of high-grade treasures instead 103.
• Gene improvement: The Thunder Beast God supplies Li Che with energy-lifeform resources sufficient to raise his gene multiplier from 180 to approximately 500 105 107.
• Refined Beast God power: The religion’s refinement methods produce resources absorbable by both flesh-and-blood and energy lifeforms, surpassing humanity’s Beast God blood refinement 107.

Story Role

Li Che’s Early Inheritance Opportunity

Jiufeng first connects Li Che to the religion by recognizing his compatibility with the Black Light Divine General inheritance. After Li Che becomes the Lord of Void Gold’s disciple, Jiufeng transfers the inheritance token to his teacher. Li Che later returns from the inheritance with a sixty-sevenfold body amplitude and a curved dagger reward 24 54 67.

Purple Thorn Island and Glory World

Li Che delays his Starry Clone’s visit to keep its identity separate from his human main body, then enters the secret realm as a Starry Spirit inheritor 79 83 94.

On Purple Thorn Island, he receives the third-layer Light-Time inheritance and establishes the name Origin Light through Glory World challenges. His eventual record reaches 2,800 wins and 14 losses before challengers become scarce 97 99.

In Treasure Land, he claims a Palace-type Supreme Treasure left by Lord Xu He at the ninety-first highest peak and renames it Starlight Fortress. His displayed strength prompts Purple Kou Venerable to investigate his recruitment potential 101 102 103.

Patronage and Advanced Cultivation

The Thunder Beast God’s recruitment is followed by an audience with the Two-Faced Ancestral God, who reveals that the Original Universe has noticed Li Che’s power beyond the perfect-gene limit 105 129.

With access to the religion’s inheritance sites and restricted techniques, Li Che completes the fourth, fifth, and sixth Beast God Inheritance layers. Completing the sixth brings his inheritance comprehension to the Universe Overlord standard 130 132.

The religion also becomes an intelligence resource: the Two-Faced Ancestral God advises Li Che about Sitting Mountain Guest, and Li Che later plans to ask the organization to locate his remaining Top Universe Overlord targets 143 167.
