Among the confirmed entrants, Elite Four member Drake and his Salamence, along with Raihan and his Duraludon, who had just lost to Qingyu, were prominently featured on the homepage.
Neither of those two, however, was his target.
After some searching, Qingyu finally found that familiar figure midway down the page.

As Kanto's premier "late-blooming Pokémon," Dragonite certainly had what it took to compete on the same stage as all those other powerhouses.
