Dudunsparce, a Normal-type Land Snake Pokémon.
It evolved from a Dunsparce that had learned its signature move, Drill Run.
Normally, an evolved Dudunsparce should have only two segments.
But roughly one lucky member out of every hundred in this species would evolve with three segments.
Because their weight and length increased significantly, these Dudunsparce were generally believed to be somewhat stronger in battle.
In one of Qingyu's previous livestreams, he had used it as an example to explain the standard approach to SubToxic tactics.
In reality, however, this Pokémon had a wide range of tactical options. Even he did not know what new tricks Nemona's Dudunsparce might pull out.
But the answer soon became clear-
"Dudunsparce, Drill Run!"
As she gave the command, Nemona revealed the Tera Orb in her other hand and immediately threw it above Dudunsparce.
Qingyu caught on instantly.
In theory, Terastallization was a special phenomenon that should only function normally in the Paldea Region.
But Chairwoman Geeta-or rather, the Paldea League-seemed to have figured out some of its mechanisms through their earlier explorations inside Area Zero.
That allowed Tera Orbs to work normally even in Kitakami, thousands of miles away.
There were even reports of some wild Pokémon capable of Terastallizing on their own inside the Terarium, which Blueberry Academy had built at enormous expense.
Presumably, that was also the result of cooperation with Paldea.
The moment the Tera Orb passed above Dudunsparce, it burst apart, stirring the dormant Terastal energy. A layer of Terastal armor quickly formed over Dudunsparce's body.
Meanwhile, Dudunsparce was poised to strike. Once the Terastal symbol representing the Normal type appeared above its head, it immediately began spinning, charging headlong like a drill!
Drill Run was an incredibly powerful signature move. Its tremendous penetrating power was enough to break through the
