After accompanying the research team and finishing their investigation of the Destiny Plate, Cynthia was finally able to set aside her main occupation and return to her relaxing life as Champion.

Late at night, Cynthia sat on the sofa, staring helplessly at the ceiling.
After all these days, the scientific investigation surrounding the Spear Pillar ruins had finally drawn to a close. All that remained was to wait for another team to discover the all-important "Spear Key."
Yet, after suddenly escaping such intense work and immediately returning to her usual leisurely Champion routine...
She actually found it a little hard to adjust.
"Lucian has already assigned all the League's work so well. There doesn't seem to be anything I can help with."
At that thought, Cynthia couldn't help shaking her head helplessly.
She was nominally the Sinnoh League Champion, the face of the entire region, but the League seemed to function perfectly well without any effort from her. Lucian and the other two already kept everything running smoothly.
Still, that was a good thing. Professional matters were best left to professionals. With such a dependable Elite Four member as Lucian, she only needed to trust them completely.
So, what should she do with this long-awaited vacation?
Cynthia, whose indecisiveness was practically terminal, thought hard but came up with absolutely nothing. Soon, she raised her head and looked at Garchomp, who was napping nearby with a Togepi plush in his arms.
The sight brought a smile to Cynthia's face.
Despite his fierce appearance, Garchomp had lacked a sense of security ever since he was little. He often needed to hug something before he could fall asleep.
At first, it had been her arm. Later, it had been Togepi's unhatched egg.
By now, Togepi
