The school wasn't particularly large. Aside from the classrooms, its facilities amounted to a library with computers for looking up information, a science lab, an outdoor swimming pool, and a greenhouse housing the students' Pokémon.
The others weren't anything special. Xia You walked over to the greenhouse and peered through its huge, transparent panes, but all he saw were some Basic-form Pokémon commonly found in the wild.
That was perfectly normal, though. After all, this was only a school.
They finished their tour in just over ten minutes.
Makomo still hadn't finished her lecture. They came to a tiered lecture hall and peered through the glass in the rear door. The spacious hall was packed with students and teachers, and Makomo stood at the front, talking as she wrote and drew on the blackboard.
Watching her serious demeanor, Xia You actually admired her quite a bit.
She hadn't prepared anything beforehand, and he had pushed her into taking his place, yet she could still speak so expansively, lecturing without notes for so long without a trace of stage fright. This side of her was the complete opposite of her usual slightly absentminded, cute self.
