Diantha raised a hand to signal for the makeup artist to wait, then set down her script and stood up.
"It really is you. What are you doing here?"
"I'm traveling through the Unova Region. I happened to come here and thought I'd take a look around. Then I heard you were filming here too, so I came to see you."
As he spoke, he turned slightly to introduce the women beside him.
"These three are all my companions. This is Dawn, a Coordinator. She may be young, but she's already been runner-up at a Grand Festival. This is Cheryl, also a Pokémon Trainer. And finally, this is Professor Makomo. She studies dreams, and she's currently traveling with us too."
A Pokémon Professor?
Diantha hadn't paid too much attention to Dawn's and Cheryl's identities.
Even though Dawn had been runner-up at a Grand Festival at such a young age, that really wasn't worth mentioning compared to her own achievements.
Cheryl went without saying.
Only Professor Makomo's identity came as a real surprise to her.
A professor, traveling?
And such a young professor at that!
After introducing the three, Xia You turned his gaze back to them and smiled. "As you can see, this is Miss Diantha, the world-famous actress and Champion of the Kalos Region."
Either title was far too dazzling for ordinary people.
That left Cheryl, Makomo, and Dawn somewhat awkward during Diantha's introduction, like ordinary young girls meeting a favorite star.
Diantha's gaze swept across their faces, and her lips curved into a smile.
Companions?
Two grown women and a young girl, all rare beauties with different qualities, traveling with a lone man. Were they really just companions?
But she didn't point it out, merely letting her gaze linger on Makomo a little longer.
