Seeing the woman, Dawn and Makomo did not think much of it and instinctively took two steps toward her.
Only Xia You stayed where he was. Looking at the woman's face, he suddenly smiled.
"No need to sit down," he said, his tone as casual as if he were discussing the weather. "But there's something I need to remind you of."
The woman looked a little puzzled.
"What is it?"
Xia You raised his hand and gave a light wave. "Zoroark, Shadow Sneak."
As Xia You finished speaking, his Hisuian Zoroark darted out of the nearby forest. Terrifying Ghost-type energy filled his claws as he approached the woman from behind at tremendous speed, aiming straight for the back of her head!
The smile instantly vanished from the woman's face, replaced by a piercing screech.
Her body twisted and transformed the instant Shadow Claw touched her. Her white shirt became black fur, her jeans became long, slender limbs, and her delicate human face turned into a foxlike muzzle.
It was the Zoroark that had just disappeared!
After returning to her original appearance, she dodged sideways, narrowly avoiding the attack.
Only then did Dawn and Makomo come to their senses.
So the woman had actually been Zoroark in disguise!
It had been so convincing!
She had actually fooled them!
Xia You raised an eyebrow at the Zoroark before him.
"So," he said slowly, "first you ambushed my Zoroark, then you tried to fool my companions with an illusion. Just what are you after?"
Zoroark did not speak. Instead, she turned and fought Hisuian Zoroark. The two Pokémon battled at close quarters and were rolling together in the blink of an eye.
After all, his Zoroark had been with him for a long time. Though he had yet to be tested in any
