Hearing Xia You agree to let her sleep there, Misty nearly laughed aloud. But she did not want to lie beside Sabrina, so, paying no mind to the distinction between boys and girls, she sat straight down on Xia You's other side, sandwiching him between herself and Sabrina.
In truth, Misty and Xia You had not spent time together in private for a long while since parting at the Indigo Conference. Now that she finally had the chance, without Ash there as an annoying third wheel, she had practically endless things to say. Not even caring that Sabrina was still there, she chattered away like a happy little bird.
For a while, the tent was filled with Misty's cheerful chatter and laughter.
Beside them, Sabrina glanced at Misty, but did not want to interfere too much with Xia You.
Besides, this was only a teenage girl who posed no threat whatsoever to their relationship. Yet Sabrina did not want to watch Xia You and Misty laughing and talking, either, so she took a pair of headphones from her backpack and put them on. Choosing to put them out of sight and out of mind, she lay down beside them and closed her eyes, pretending to sleep.
Misty saw all this and grew even bolder. She stopped disguising her words, letting her longing for him show in everything she said!
"Xia You, guess who I dreamed about last night?"
"Who did you dream about?" Xia You asked, though he already knew the answer.
"Hehe, you, of course!" Misty blushed slightly. Though terribly shy, she still looked straight into Xia You's eyes. "I dreamed about us soaking in the hot springs together on Cinnabar Island. But what a coincidence! Only a few hours later, we actually met again. My dream really
