All right, with that, the storyline covering the Sevii Islands and the Orange League has finally come to an end.
The whole arc ran for 112 chapters and over 240,000 Chinese characters, about the length I had expected.
Over the course of the story, Xia You met some people, caught a few Pokémon, obtained a few items, and won his second trophy. All in all, he grew to a certain extent.
I expect that only when I get to Generation VIII will I weave in a few scenes of coming back here. Aside from that, there won't be any returns here.
Overall, apart from the writing being a little rushed, I'm fairly satisfied with this storyline, so I won't say much more about it.
Next up is heading to the Johto Region to challenge the Silver Conference. I expect it to be about as long as Kanto, but there won't be too many Pokémon caught-probably only four or five.
Oh, right, I can give you all a little spoiler first: I'll probably change the traveling companion about halfway through the Silver Conference storyline, replacing Sabrina with another female character. I think a different female lead is sure to bring a different feel.
