Rumble, rumble, rumble...
The tremendous roar of helicopter rotors drew closer from the distance, clearly audible even amid the chaotic battlefield.
Butch and Cassidy looked toward the horizon, where four helicopters had already appeared and were speeding toward them.
The roar grew louder and louder until it hurt their eardrums. By the time the helicopters reached the beach, both could clearly see the enormous International Police emblems printed on their fuselages!
"The International Police?!"
Seeing that it was actually the International Police, the two exchanged a look of astonishment.
After all, although they had known helicopters were coming as reinforcements, they had assumed it would only be ordinary police. They had never imagined it would be the International Police!!
These people were far harder to deal with than ordinary police. Both their officers and their Pokémon were well-equipped and well-trained, and their ranks included experts who could rival the Four Executives. They also enlisted all kinds of outside help, and generally only mobilized to apprehend major criminals operating across national and regional borders, or organizations like Team Rocket!
If they were showing up here now, they had to be coming to wipe them all out!
If at all possible, Cassidy and Butch really did not want to face these people!
The arrival of the International Police shattered their last hope of getting lucky, like the final straw that broke their morale!
The Team Rocket members were visibly thrown into chaos. Some on the front lines, trapped deep within the battlefield, had no choice but to keep fighting the Pokémon belonging to Xia You and the others, while those at the rear had lost all desire to fight and stared fearfully up at the helicopters!
After their initial astonishment, Cassidy and Butch were now beginning to panic as well.
