The Goldenrod City Department Store stood in the southern part of Goldenrod City. Despite its rather old-fashioned name, which made it sound like an aging building selling secondhand goods and small trinkets, it was actually the largest shopping center for Pokémon merchandise in Goldenrod City-and in all of Johto!
The department store had six floors above ground and two below, making eight in total. Not only was its interior spacious, bright, and lavishly decorated, but its merchandise was not limited to Pokémon-related items either, making it just as suitable for people who came simply to browse.
When Xia You and Erika entered the department store, they immediately discovered how crowded it was. It was not just Pokémon Trainers; plenty of fashionably dressed men and women were there too.
