The helicopter slowly descended, and as soon as the door opened, Kuroda eagerly jumped out first.
"Mr. Xia You..." Looking at Xia You, Kuroda said in astonishment, "You actually did it!"
Through the window of the helicopter, he had just seen that the entire valley was covered in traces of battle. Not a single spot had been left intact!

Xia You did not think much of it. He merely nodded lightly. "It went all right. There were a few twists and turns, but I managed to get the job done."
He remained unruffled by praise or disgrace, and there was really no need to go around boasting about something like this.
"That Deoxys...?" Kuroda asked cautiously.
"Doesn't the fact that you could come here safely make it clear enough? Don't worry. I've caught that Deoxys, so it won't cause any more trouble. You can go into the water and salvage that meteorite without worrying, too."
"Thank you so much!" Kuroda bowed deeply to the two of them. "Mr. Stone will be delighted to hear this news! On behalf of the entire Devon Corporation, I sincerely thank you both for your help!"
Declining Kuroda's kind offer to take them back to Rustboro City by helicopter, Xia You and Misty climbed onto Charizard. After briefly taking care of a few miscellaneous matters, they flew straight toward Petalburg City without lingering.
He had already wasted far too much time. After passing through several times without ever managing to challenge the Petalburg Gym, Xia You was unwilling to delay any longer.
If he returned to Rustboro City with Kuroda first, who knew what else might happen? It was better to finish the challenge
