As for whether Wei Heng really was a restless sleeper who kept turning over,
or whether he was doing it deliberately, or simply by accident, only he knew.
What happened in the neighboring compartment had little to do with Xin Mu. He was busy looking after his own Pokémon.
Whether it was a deluxe sleeper or a hard seat, a green train was still a green train. The only differences were the location of the carriage and a slightly better environment.
Whenever the train passed over a joint in the tracks, there was still an odd clunk.
For Riolu and Squirtle, this was an entirely new experience.
"Squirtle, Squirtle! (Back when I first came onto land, human trains were still those black ones that went woo-woo and puffed out black smoke. Who knew there would be so many kinds now?)"

Large numbers of wild Pokémon lived in the Wild Area. To minimize the impact on them while ensuring rail safety, the League had spent extra money building bridges through the Wild Area, laying the tracks on those bridges rather than running them straight across the wilderness.
"The world keeps changing. If you'd stayed in the sea a few more years, who knows what it would look like out here?"
Pokémon were not the only ones who could not predict how the world would develop; humans could not either. Once a technological explosion began, progress could change the world by the day.
And in this world...
