Then he drifted down from the Six-Tusked White Elephant, patted it with one hand, and watched as it flew high into the sky and vanished from sight. After a brief moment of thought, he entered the hall, sat cross-legged before Maitreya Buddha's statue, lowered his head, and began chanting scriptures.
Before long, two streams of divine sense and a beam of Clear Eye Light swept over. Namo Great Practice Samantabhadra Bodhisattva did not even open his eyes, nor did his chanting cease. He knew perfectly well that these had to be the divine senses of Zhen Kong and the others probing Great Snow Mountain.
