As Namo Great Practice Samantabhadra Bodhisattva stepped aside, the tightly shut main hall of Little Linglong Temple suddenly swung open. Though Buddha light now filled the heavens, enveloping the entire Great Snow Mountain, the interior of the hall was pitch-black, revealing nothing at all—let alone the Buddha Lord's true form.
"Ah??" Seeing the old monk suddenly awaken, no longer deaf and muddleheaded as before, Chun Zang was utterly stunned. He looked hesitantly at the open hall doors, not daring to act rashly. Yet after only one glance, a long-lost sense of mission, belonging, and familiarity arose from the darkness within. Something indescribable struck against his heart and lungs, against his memories, as though everything he had sought lay inside, as though the Buddha's true form was hidden in that darkness.
Chun Zang could not help but take a step forward!!!
"Master..." Seeing this, Zhen Kong grew anxious and hurriedly leaped down from the high wall, blocking Chun Zang's path. Though he had already seen Namo Great Practice Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's true form, the hall was veiled by something incomparably profound. His divine sense could not penetrate it, nor could Clear Sight Light see through it. How could he possibly rest easy letting Chun Zang enter? Even if it was Namo Great Practice Samantabhadra Bodhisattva who had permitted it!!
Hearing this, Chun Zang stopped again. He looked at the old monk, then at Zhen Kong, and asked, "What is it? Isn't it just a main hall? What danger could there be?"
Zhen Kong said solemnly, "Master, though it is a main hall, this disciple cannot set his mind at ease. Even with this disciple's divine powers, I cannot see what lies inside. If you agree, may this disciple go in first and take a look?"
"Fine!" Chun Zang did not hesitate and
