Xiao Hua broke Seven Spirit Mountain’s Vanta Great Formation, repaired Li Zongbao’s Immortal-Piercing Whip, and fought off the Sword Transformation cultivator Xue Mingcha. Separated from his companions, Xiao Hua searched for them while Fairy Hongxia, Li Zongbao, and Xiao Mao were forced to flee a group of swordsmen led by Zuo Jian.

• Xiao Hua accepted Qi Chengyi’s wager to break the Vanta Great Formation, then entered it with Fairy Hongxia, Li Zongbao, and Xiao Mao.
• Xiao Hua shattered the formation’s giant Artifact Spirit and escaped with Xiao Mao, while Qi Chengyi compensated Xiao Mao and Xiao Hua kept a white bone from Qi Chengyi’s storage pouch.
• Xiao Hua killed Sikong Yu, who had come seeking the supposed Divine Sword Secret Codex, and gave Sikong Yu’s Golden Broken Arrow to Xiao Mao.
• Xiao Hua began repairing Li Zongbao’s Immortal-Piercing Whip with Li Zongbao’s essence blood, then defeated four Illusion Sword Rank Three swordsmen who ambushed the group.
• After completing the whip’s refinement, Xiao Hua sent Fairy Hongxia, Li Zongbao, and Xiao Mao ahead and stayed behind to draw away Xue Mingcha, who pursued him for killing Qin Jian and other swordsmen.
• Xiao Hua escaped Xue Mingcha by trapping her in an icy lake with Innate True Water and spirit fire, but lost his way while searching for his companions.

Xiao Hua reunited with Fairy Hongxia and rescued her by refining a Flying Shadow Pill that restored her Ice Phoenix Dharma Body. The group then entered Million Meng Mountain disguised as soul cultivators and encountered its native inhabitants.

• Xiao Hua met Jiu Xia and followed her to Sword Blade Peak, where he rescued Li Zongbao, Fairy Hongxia, and Xiao Mao from six Illusion Sword Swordsmen.
• Jiu Xia treated Fairy Hongxia and gave Xiao Hua the Flying Shadow Pill formula, while Xiao Hua refined pills to restore Hongxia’s damaged Dharma Body.
• Fairy Hongxia and Jiu Xia became sworn sisters, and Hongxia used a Grade 3 Flying Shadow Pill and Five Elements materials to reforge her Ice Phoenix Dharma Body.

Xiao Mao embraced his Shebi heritage as Xiao Hua helped Hongdi Village survive the Jiajie Worm swarm and offered millet seeds to address Million Meng Mountain’s famine. Jiu Xia revealed her role in the war and warned of a threat to Xuntian City, while the Dao Sect leaders received Xiao Hua’s message with suspicion as he and Fairy Hongxia traveled toward her ancestral shrine.

• Xiao Mao was welcomed as a descendant of Great God Shebi, and the people of Hongdi Village pledged their loyalty to him.
• When Jiajie Worms swarmed Hongdi Village, Xiao Hua helped Xiao Mao use Cloud-Rain Talismans to drive them away.
• Elder Wu explained that drought had ruined the millet harvest, and Xiao Hua offered seeds he had obtained at Qiang He Sea to help Million Meng Mountain.
• Jiu Xia told Xiao Hua she came from the Sword Domain, had orchestrated the war, and wanted him to prevent the conflict between Million Meng Mountain and the Sword Domain.
• Jiu Xia warned Xiao Hua that the sword cultivators might target Xuntian City, and he shared the warning with Li Zongbao, Xiao Mao, and Fairy Hongxia.
• Xiao Mao, Xiao Hua, Fairy Hongxia, Li Zongbao, and Qie Qi left Hongdi Village carrying millet seeds, while reports from the front described the Dao Sect’s victory at Cuihua Ridge.

• Fairy Hongxia found the Phoenix Totem, and its light drew Xiao Hua, Xiao Mao, Li Zongbao, and her into the Cai Family Ancestral Hall, where she received the Phoenix Inheritance.
• The ancestral hall cast Xiao Hua into a battle with a Fire Ape and a Drought Fiend while Ye Yu and Hou Yan confronted Xiao Mao, Li Zongbao, and Fairy Hongxia.
• Xiao Hua arrived during the fight and attacked Ye Yu, but the Drought Fiend overwhelmed the battlefield and abducted Xiao Mao.
• Xiao Hua pursued the Drought Fiend, lost its trail, and met Zi Ming, who identified it as an ancient Iron Corpse with Shebi bloodline and organized a search for Xiao Mao.
• Zi Ming reunited Xiao Hua with Li Zongbao and Fairy Hongxia and took them to Master Ke Qin, while Li Zongbao asked about ways to restore the dead.
• Zi Ming revealed that she needed Master Ke Qin to repair Houtu Village’s damaged Soul Falling Lamp, a task that could cost him his life essence.
• Xiao Hua recognized the lamp from the storage pouch Zi Ye had brought to Xuntian City, and Zi Ming explained that it might enable its controller to resurrect the dead.
