Cynthia came from the Sinnoh Region, and Kaim from the Hoenn Region. As such, they did not compete in other regions' leagues or visit them to take in the sights. Even after watching matches on video, seeing the real thing was an opportunity in itself.
The festivities were about to begin, and merely thinking about them lifted her spirits. She could compete in a place where the finest Trainers gathered. She could imagine no greater honor as a Trainer.
