"She doesn't seem to be in any danger. Maybe Mewtwo's Hypnosis has worn off." She hadn't woken up, but she seemed unhurt, and her breathing was normal. Kaim decided she was merely asleep, so he carried Nurse Joy over to the wall and laid her down.
"Lucario, take a look."
Kaim brought Lucario out of his ball and asked him to keep an eye on Nurse Joy. Lucario nodded and crouched beside her, checking her condition through the flow of the waves.
Feeling he could leave her with Lucario for now, Kaim decided to operate the equipment at the back of the room and see what this room was actually for.
He tapped at the keyboard, making the computer display the software it had loaded and the operations it was trying to perform.
"Kaim, this is it."
"This is data on the Champions' ace Pokémon. I've been mirroring the aces from the beginning, so it's no surprise there's so much. But here's the problem."
As she spoke, Sonia glanced at the program Kaim had brought up. An up-and-coming scholar, Sonia figured out what it was in a matter of seconds.
"Is this a configuration program for cloned Pokémon?"
"Probably. In other words, this is a device for cloning Pokémon."
This was probably how Cynthia's ace came into being. I don't know whether it should be destroyed, but why did Mewtwo create it? Depending on its purpose, it will have to be destroyed.
"Let's head back for now. Nurse Joy needs protection."
"Yes. This is where the cloned Pokémon are created. I've discovered it's a research facility, and judging by the map data on the computer, the only other room seems to be the security room. Investigating this place thoroughly will take quite a while."
After confirming that Sonia agreed with
