"I-it's Ash. What brings you all the way to the Alola Region?"
"Principal, did you know Professor Oak joined the Shuttle Corps?" I went straight to the question on my mind.
"N-no! I don't... know anything!" Anyone could tell he was lying from that tone.
"You must know something! Honestly, I still can't believe Professor Oak would join an evil organization like that!" Seeing that the principal was hiding something, I pressed him further.
After my repeated questions, Principal Oak seemed to have no intention of evading the issue any longer.
He locked the door firmly, then checked every corner of the room to make sure there were no ears listening through the walls.
"Ash, don't tell anyone what I'm about to say, or Yukinari-Professor Oak's given name-could be killed." The principal leaned toward my ear and spoke quietly.
"Yukinari and his grandson took the risk of infiltrating the organization as undercover agents to get to the bottom of it..."
"Principal, is that really true?" In fact, even before the principal revealed the truth, I had already picked up a few clues.
"Yes. Yukinari contacts me occasionally. He's currently investigating the relationship and secrets connecting Key Stones, Mega Stones, and the Sundial. They might be related to the organization's plot."
Key Stones, Mega Stones, and the Sundial... I had found files about them in Professor Oak's laboratory, too.
"Principal, I found some of the professor's files in his laboratory. They mentioned an Ultimate Weapon from three thousand years ago and a Second Calamity. Do you know anything about them?"
"Let me think. An Ultimate Weapon from three thousand years ago... that sounds like something from the Kalos Region's history. As for the Second Calamity, I'm afraid I can't help you."
"The Kalos Region? Looks like I'll have to investigate there.
