After we passed through the cave, a vast expanse of white lay before us. Jieli, Wutong, and Ali all took out their coats. Meimo breathed out a puff of white mist. Seeing her shiver, I stopped, took off the coat I was wearing, and draped it over her shoulders. "That should keep you warm!"
Wutong gave a sunny smile, while Jieli smiled faintly. Only Meimo had been silly enough to forget to prepare a coat.
Meimo stared blankly at me and nodded, then suddenly felt an icy impact. We turned to see Princess Ali smiling at us. Meimo and I immediately packed snowballs and fired back. Then Jieli joined the battle, followed by Wutong, and Trevenant even jumped out of the Poké Ball to play along.
Jieli and Wutong also let out Skiddo and Aggron to play in the snow. Meimo's Chespin got hit and tumbled over twice. It was pretty funny.
In the end, we all lay in a circle in the snow. Just then, an Altaria appeared, singing a beautiful Hyper Voice. A couple passed by riding on Altaria, their fingers tightly intertwined as though they had not seen each other in ages. Then they disappeared in the blink of an eye. I had no idea whether it had been an illusion.
I could not help exclaiming, "Did you guys see anything?"
Jieli said, "See what?"
Wutong said, "What did you see?"
Ali said, "Silver, what do you mean?"
Only Meimo said, "I saw... a couple."
"Yes! That's what I meant! You saw them too, Meimo!"
